[Swannymote Rock] is a squat tower form, unlike, in its formation, any other in the Forest.
In this parish [Whitwick], and about two miles north-east of the villiage, is the Swainmote Rock, on which, in early times, the courts of the forest were held.
There is a small face (4m) and arête on the west side uncomfortably close to the fence. Keep your legs together if you fall off.
