A sheltered south-facing quarry. Home to Karma f7A+, the best wall climb in the area, and Grimley's Crack, which is a must for the f6A+ climber. The quarry has several eliminates and link ups in the f7B/+ grade range, as well as the straight-up problem Grimley's Dream f7B+. The landings here slope away slightly so require some thought.

Parking: Park courteously on Gracedieu Road, Whitwick LE67 5AN.
Approach: Head eastwards along the footpath running along the side of the allotments. Where the footpath turns right continue straight up the hill. At the top of this the quarry should be visible in a dip to your left.

Small quarries have a cosy intimacy: from the moment industry ceases they start to imitate nature and the echo of human abandonment adds a distantly solemn note.
