Hob's Hole is across the road from the east end of Trilobate Plantation and is home to lots of low to mid grade problems. Hob's Hole takes its name from the goblins which supposedly once lived here.

Parking: Shortly after Turolough Road becomes Warren Lane there are two gates on either side of the road. Park in the layby next to these (52.7524911, -1.3562841). If there is no space here or the area generally seems too full, please park in the car park on Melrose Road instead.

A small green craglet boasting a huge tree... Gives a problem or two.
Hobdell: locative name from a Middle English topographical expression hobbe del ‘goblin valley or pit’; compare the various small places called Hobhole, Hob’s Hole, Hobb’s Arse, and the like.
