Approach: The old guidebook suggests that climbers would cause little problem if they approached from the clubhouse along the ridge.
Parking: Park on Beacon Road east of the junction with Breakback Road, Woodhouse Eaves ​LE12 8RW (52.727080, -1.223252).
Because of their situation in the middle of the golf course access has been restricted. However, climbers have visited the rocks late on summer evenings when the last golfers are on the tenth hole (it is a nine hole course).

With all the climbs on this wall one has to be ethically strict with oneself if, and this is important, the standards are to mean anything. There are cracks or cleavages dividing the wall into slabs. All the footholds and hand holds in the cracks are 'Taboo'... If these rules are observed the climbs become highly interesting if artificial routes of great technical interest.
